Ways to pay your DStv account

Payments are made easy with DStv Africa Self Service. You can pay for your own subscription or help others pay for their DStv subscription. You just need to enter the details of the person you want to pay for, verify the account and that you are paying the correct account.

We have multiple payment options you can use to pay or reconnect your DStv account, such as MyDStv App, Internet Banking, USSD, Debit Order or you can visit our Walk-in Centres or your nearest store to top-up.

Access Bank

The bank offers telephone banking and internet payment facilities which can be used to pay MultiChoice Nigeria subscription.

When making the payment, the customer must enter their customer number as the beneficiary description, reference.

You can also pay by instructing your bank to set up a direct debit order.

You can also pay your account subscription at any MultiChoice branch or agent and at Access Bank.

QuickTeller ATM

You can pay for your DStv subscription at bank ATM machines powered by Quickteller (so look out for the Quickteller logo on the ATM).

The process for making subscription payments in as follows:

  1. Insert ATM card
  2. Enter PIN
  3. Select ‘Pay Bills’ from the options on the screen
  4. Select account type (Current or Savings)
  5. Select DStv for the options on the screen
  6. Select your DStv bouquet
  7. Enter your Smartcard number, and ACCEPT
  8. It's that simple!: -).
  9. Please ensure that your decoder is switched on when as you complete the transaction.
  10. If your viewing is not restored shortly afterwards, please text RA followed by the first 10 digits of your smartcard number to 30333.

Eazy Money

  1. Allows you to pay using your Eazy Money mobile wallet online (eazy.dstv.com/pay).
  2. Simply, enter your mobile number and Eazy money PIN.
  3. Should you not have a Eazy money wallet, you can register at a Zenith Bank branch.

Baxi Box POS

You can pay for your DStv subscription using Baxi Box. Baxi Box agents are located nationwide.

Enterprise Bank

The bank offers telephone banking and internet payment facilities which can be used to pay MultiChoice Nigeria subscription.

  1. When making the payment, the customer must enter their customer number as the beneficiary description, and reference.
  2. You can also pay by instructing your bank to set up a direct debit order.
  3. You can also pay your account subscription at any MultiChoice branch or agent and at Enterprise Bank.

eTranzact

The eTranzact BankIT solution allows you to pay for your subscription, directly from your bank account, online and on mobile.

To pay online, on the DStv website:

  1. Select Country, input specific Smart card number and click on VERIFY button
  2. Click VIEW BALANCE AND PAY to proceed to the payment summary page showing date and amount due for payment.
  3. Click PAY to proceed to the Payment Subscription page showing Account Holder’s details.
  4. Select eTranzact Payment Option and select BankIT.
  5. Input Bank account number and select preferred Bank.
  6. Generate a 6-digit passcode and submit details
  7. Dial *389*00# with phone number registered with the nominated Bank to receive an OTP.
  8. Input the OTP in the space provided and click PAY.

A Payment Response stating the details of the transaction is then received, indicating successful payment.

The eTranzact BankIT solution allows you to pay for your subscription, directly from your bank account, online and on mobile.

FCMB Bank

Follow these easy steps to pay for your subscription:

  1. Cash is received by FCMB tellers at all FCMB Branches.
  2. Customer is required to fill a form by the teller by inputting your name, phone number and IUC number.
  3. The customer then deposits the money and transaction is complete

Fidelity Bank

The bank offers telephone banking and internet payment facilities which can be used to pay MultiChoice Nigeria subscription

When making the payment, the customer must enter their customer number as the beneficiary description, reference.

  1. You can also pay by instructing your bank to set up a direct debit order.
  2. You can also pay your account subscription at any MultiChoice branch or agent at Fidelity Bank.

First Bank

The bank offers telephone banking and internet payment facilities which can be used to pay MultiChoice Nigeria subscription. 

When making the payment, the customer must enter their customer number as the beneficiary description, reference.

You can also pay your account subscription at any MultiChoice branch or agent and at First Bank

GlobalPay

To make an online payment for your DStv subscription via GlobalPAY:

  1. Visit MyDStv and then log into your account.
  2. Go to the PAY page and select GlobalPAY and then fill in your payment details including your First Name; Last Name, e-mail Address; Mobile Number, Customer Number and Smartcard Number and then click on Complete Payment GlobalPAY.com.
  3. You will be redirected to the GlobalPAY website where you will be prompted to select your Card Type and then enter your Card Number and then click on Pay.
  4. You will redirected back to your account on the MyDStv website.

Keystone Bank

The bank offers telephone banking and internet payment facilities which can be used to pay MultiChoice Nigeria subscription.

When making the payment, the customer must enter their customer number as the beneficiary description, reference.

You can also pay by instructing your bank to set up a direct debit order.

You can also pay your account subscription at any MultiChoice branch or agent and at Keystone Bank.

KongaPay

To make payments for your DStv subscription using KongaPay, visit kongapay.com or download the app (available for Android and iOS devices) and then register or log in to your account.

  1. Go to services and bills and select TV subscription
  2. Select DStv as the subscription type and input your smart card number.
  3. Your details, as well as current bouquet plan, are automatically pre-populated on the screen.
  4. To change current plan select the bouquet drop-down menu and select appropriately.
  5. Select *Auto-renew every month* to authorize DStv to automatically bill and renew your subscription every month.
  6. Select *Pay* and input your KongaPay pin and OTP sent to your phone.
  7. Select confirm, the transaction has been completed and your DStv account is activated.

MainStreet Bank

The bank offers telephone banking and internet payment facilities which can be used to pay MultiChoice Nigeria subscription.

When making the payment, the customer must enter their customer number as the beneficiary description, reference.

You can also pay your account subscription at any MultiChoice branch or agent and at MainStreet Bank.

Paga e-Pay

To make an online payment for your DStv subscription via Paga e-Pay:

  1. Visit MyDStv and then log into your account.
  2. You will be presented with a list of online payment methods that are available in your country when you choose to make a payment.
  3. Select Paga e-Pay and follow the instructions.

PayArena

Payarena offers convenience such that from the comfort of your home or office with your computer workstation, Laptop, Tablet and other mobile or handheld device or by visiting the nearest POS and ATMs, you can recharge your phone

Customers can make DStv payments using Payarena:

  1. Visit www.payarena.com
  2. Click the ‘DSTV’ logo
  3. Select the desired bouquet, enter smartcard number, enter email address and click ‘Submit’
  4. Select your payment option e.g. Visa, Mastercard and enter card details
  5. Enter authentication code i.e. iPin for Visa, Securecode for Mastercard to complete subscription

QuickTeller

QuickTeller allows DStv customers to pay for their subscriptions online. This platform interfaces with the integrated billing system (IBS) and gives the subscriber immediate values that prompt an automatic re-connection of the disconnected service within 5 minutes.

To pay your DStv subscription online:

  1. Switch your decoder on if your account has already been disconnected.
  2. Log on to www.quickteller.com/dstv and elect the DStv bouquet of your choice.
  3. Enter your e-mail address, smartcard number, and enter your mobile phone number.
  4. Click NEXT.
  5. Enter the DStv subscriber's name and confirm that your smartcard number was filled correctly.
  6. Click PAY and click on your debit card type i.e. Interswitch, Verve or MasterCard.
  7. Enter your card details i.e. Card Number and Expiry Date as inscribed on your debit card, and then enter your 4 digit PIN.
  8. Click PAY once, the transaction has been completed and your DStv account is credited, your viewing will be restored.

PayArena ATM

PayArena offers convenience such that from the comfort of your home or office with your computer workstation, Laptop, Tablet and other mobile or handheld device or by visiting the nearest POS and ATMs, you can recharge your phone and the phone of any beneficiary of choice or make payment to utility service providers on a 24/7 basis.

Customers can make DStv payments using Payarena:

  1. Insert card and enter card PIN.
  2. Select ‘Payarena’ menu and ‘Bills Payment’ option.
  3. Select bank account type (e.g. current or savings) and select ‘DSTV’ from the list of billers.
  4. Select a bouquet (if desired bouquet is not listed, select ‘others’ and enter amount. Enter smartcard number and phone number.
  5. Confirm the summary displayed on the ATM and select ‘Yes’ to complete the subscription process.

PayArena POS

  1. Insert card and enter card PIN
  2. Select ‘Payarena’ option and account type
  3. Select ‘Bills Payment’ option and pick ‘DSTV’
  4. Enter smartcard number and phone number
  5. Type in amount to pay and press ‘Yes’ to complete the subscription process.

PayU

Follow these easy steps to pay for your subscription:

  1. PayU allows you to pay using your VISA and MasterCard online from MyDStv.
  2. Simply, enter the cardholders’ number, card number, CVV number and expiry date as displayed on your VISA and MasterCard card.
  3. Complete payment

Stanbic IBTC Bank

When making payment, enter your customer number as the beneficiary description/reference.

You can also pay by instructing your bank to set up a direct debit.

Stanbic Mobile

USSD:

Use the Stanbic Mobile Wallet via USSD to easily make your DStv payments.

  1. Dial *909# on your mobile phone and send
  2. Select '4' and press Register
  3. Provide customer information required on each field and send

Online:

You can also pay your subscription on any WAP enabled phone (for example, Nokia or BlackBerry).

To make a payment:

  1. Visit the Mobile Money WAP link on www.stanbicibtcbank.mobi
  2. Select Mobile Money, input your number
  3. Click on Register and provide customer details as required

You will be directed to the DStv Page on Stanbic Mobile to pay for your DStv Subscription.

StanbicIBTC Direct Debit

Stanbic IBTC Bank allows Multichoice customers to pay for their DStv account by direct debit

Zenith Bank

This is a mobile wallet from Zenith Bank, Nigeria, the application can be downloaded from the mobile app store or from www.eazymoney.com.ng.

After Logging in, the customer must select Bill payment.

  1. Select Eazy money or bank depending on where the customer wants to pay.
  2. The Biller Number is the smartcard number.
  3. Customer must enter the amount intending to pay.
  4. Customer must Input 4 digit Secret PIN and will receive sms for a successful or unsuccessful payment. (The App on a phone can be used by multiple users.)
  5. NB: (Bank is for Zenith Account holders who has linked their account to the mobile wallet known as the Banked Customers while Eazy money selection is for Non-Zenith Account Holders called Unbanked Customers).
  6. The Biller Code is DStv.
