The first live action on ESPN arrives on the evening of Friday 19 November and sees Queens Park Rangers host Luton Town in an EFL Championship clash (21:40 LIVE on ESPN).

QPR manager Mark Warburton has given his full backing to Charlie Austin to return to his best scoring form sooner rather than later: Charlie is tremendous around the place and his standing in the squad is well set," said the R's boss.

“He is a striker, they have streaks. Lyndon Dykes didn’t score for about 21 games last season, then once he did he couldn’t stop. That is the industry strikers are in. Charlie was definitely frustrated after the Peterborough, Sunderland and Forest games. But I thought when he came on the other night for Andre early in the second half at Cardiff he was outstanding.”

Saturday 20 November features an Eredivisie clash between PSV and Vitesse (17:20 LIVE on ESPN), before Sunday 21 November brings a trio of matches from the Dutch top flight, with Go Ahead Eagles v Groningen (13:10 LIVE on ESPN), Feyenoord v PEC Zwolle (15:20 LIVE on ESPN) and RKC Waalwijk v Ajax (17:35 LIVE on ESPN).

ESPN will also be your home for the latest news and views from the world of basketball and American football, as 'NBA Today' and 'NFL Live' are broadcast LIVE on ESPN each evening at 22:00 and 23:00 respectively from Tuesday 23 to Thursday 24 November.

ESPN 2 opens the week with bone-crunching action from the NFL Regular Season on the morning of Friday 19 November, as the Atlanta Falcons take on the New England Patriots (03:20 LIVE on ESPN 2).

Patriots coach Bill Belichick has said that he is open to making mid-season signings if they improve the team: "We've done that before. Brought in [Aqib] Talib in the middle of the season. You'd have to evaluate any situation. I don't know any specifics to talk about, so at this point, there's nothing to really talk about. We'd do anything we could to help our football team. We brought in James Harrison with one game to go in the season," said the New England boss.

Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 November bring ESPN College GameDay, followed by a trio of live NCAA matches (18:00 – 06:00 LIVE on ESPN 2) running into the early hours.

The mornings of Monday 22 and Tuesday 23 November both feature live NFL Regular Season games, with the Los Angeles Chargers v Pittsburgh Steelers (03:20 LIVE on ESPN 2) and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers v New York Giants (03:15 LIVE on ESPN 2) respectively.

The Giants have shown promise this season but fallen short in key moments, with cornerback James Bradberry explaining, "We're just shooting ourselves in the foot. Making bad mistakes in key moments. That is how we're losing games."

Logan Ryan added, "We just need to have some better poise at the end when the stakes are high. Unfortunately, we don't all get a 'My bad!' We don't get that in this league. Got to learn from it. Got to do better."

Join in on the excitement. And while you’re on the move, you can stream the action on the DStv App.
