The season finale of Africa Magic Showcase's The Split delivered a whirlwind of chaos, betrayal, and well-earned consequences. We finally saw just how far Ezekiel was willing to go in his relentless pursuit of money. After terrorising Harriet and extorting 18 million naira from her, he turned his sights to Tola and Abdul — still demanding money that wasn't even his to begin with!
Ezekiel loses his cool
Armed and unstable, Ezekiel held Tola and Abdul at gunpoint, confessing exactly how much he took from Harriet and demanding an additional 4 million naira or else all hell would break loose.
But the situation grew even messier. Razaq, to whom Abdul owed a staggering 150 million naira, arrived with armed men — furious and impatient. With both men demanding money and derailing each other's plans, the tension skyrocketed.
Tola and Abdul insisted the money was with Mr Ndukwe, who betrayed them at the worst possible moment. They offered to lead both men to him, but neither Razaq nor Ezekiel was buying it. Growing increasingly agitated, Ezekiel forced Abdul to show him his bank balance. When he found nothing, he snapped — and everything spiralled.
An unexpected gunshot
In the struggle that followed, Abdul tried to wrestle the gun from Ezekiel's grip. One wrong move — one loud bang — and the bullet found Ezekiel. Instant death. As Razaq stood over Ezekiel's lifeless body, he delivered a cold, fitting verdict: "See yourself. See what greed has done to you."
Shaken but relieved, Tola and Abdul wasted no time moving forward. Even better, Razaq agreed to help cover up Ezekiel's death and let Abdul's debt go in exchange for the money Ezekiel had taken from Harriet.
The final twist
But Ezekiel's death wasn't the only explosive ending. In a shocking final turn, the trio pinned all their crimes on the ruthless Mr Ndukwe, leading to his arrest — the perfect icing on a very chaotic cake!
