The village of Ofu-Obodo is plunged into an epic battle as the great masquerade of Aniedo clashes with the formidable Okwudike. In a dramatic showdown, Aniedo emerges victorious, but victory comes at a grave cost for Muna.

After Eze Dibia's death and the market site tragedy, Zina appeals to the spirits to select another fitting candidate to become the new Masquerade following Muna's decision to drop his title. While he no longer wants parts, as everyone sees him as incompetent, Zina forces Muna to participate in the Masquerade selection.

The epic finale saw Aniedo claim victory in a fierce battle, leaving fans erupting in excitement.

As Eze Dibia withers away, he pushes Zina to accept and attend her confirmation as the new Masquerade of Aniedo; with a teary eye, she refuses as she struggles to come to terms with becoming the savior of Ofo Obodo.
