A-list Nigerian artist Fido opened the Big Brother Naija season 10 Live Show with a medley, where he unleashed his summer bangers, ‘Awolowo’ and ‘Joy Is Coming.’ And while joy had already landed in the Biggieverse, heat was still blazing in the tunnel. And shortly after, Ebuka entered the stage slaying pink drip, which would be the first of two outfit changes for the night.
The double serving of pink made all the poetic sense because, as it would turn out, Saturday belonged to the girls. And to make it a splashy night of her-story, 15 of Nigeria’s most star-laced personalities strut up the bedazzled stage to meet the g.o.a.t.e.d host for a shameless self plug, a promise or two, and the first encounter with the world as a housemate.
On a mission to get the gist on how the new personalities aimed to navigate the 10/10 house, Ebuka asked the divas a slew of fun questions to gain a glimpse into their plans for their new reality.
And let’s just say – the girls understand that the social experiment’s iconic 10th season, only the highest scores would be making the cut. And it shows because, among a slew of plot twists that will be making this season one for the books, Ebuka also revealed new twists that affect the bag. As it turns out, on season 10, the housemates will be expected to bring their A-game to keep the prize money intact. If you gasped at the prospect of the money dwindling due to one too many naps, imagine what the faves must be feeling.
Pressure. And that’s how you get those 10s across the board, which are mandatory. As a former housemate himself, Ebuka knew to confess that for this season, Biggie has outdone himself.
Fortunately for housemates, season 10 also finds Biggie up for the big flex. Further to giving the house a lush glow-up, which viewers toured virtually with Ebuka’s walk through the spacious mansion, the 10/10 season now also boasts the biggest bag in cash and prizes in the history of the show. You know what that means? A game from the faves, the crushes, and the future exes.
