This week, the finalists were presented with a special theme "I love Nigeria" to celebrate Nigeria's 63rd independence on October 1st. As part of their efforts to celebrate the motherland, the All Stars were asked to put together a cultural show showcasing the unique traits of Nigeria which include food, fashion, music and dance.

The cultural presentation kicked off with a narration by Adekunle who shared a bit of Nigeria's history, tracing it from the past and linking it with the present. After Pere's rendition of the national anthem, the All Stars introduced themselves and talked about why they are proud to be Nigerian. The delicacies they prepared were soon rolled out to further display Nigeria's rich cultural heritage.

Their colourful traditional attires were also on display, as each of them gave an insight into what they were wearing and its significance in Nigerian culture. They also looked at how fashion has evolved into bright, colourful patterns that can be replicated on various fabrics.

In the end, the finalists exceeded Big Brother's expectations, but that wasn't all, as he gave them another task: to compose a poem titled 'Proudly Nigeria' an appreciation of what it means to be Nigerian as well as their desires and wishes for the country. Biggie was very clear as he told the All Stars to set aside religious and ethnic differences to create one poem to be presented tomorrow.

From their scrumptuous dishes to their energetic dance, the All Stars finalists have shown us that Nigeria is a blessed place, bringing so much joy to its people, and despite the challenges experienced, they are all proud to be Nigerians.

Happy Independence Day, Nigeria!
