And just like that, we’re at week 9. The past fifty-seven days have been filled with absences, alliances, arguments, bonds, emotions, evictions, food, relationships, and zeal.
The housemates have truly experienced it all, and those still in the game – Dede, Faith, Imisi, Isabella, Jason Jae, Kaybobo, Kola, Koyin, Mensan, Mide, Rooboy, Sultana, and Zita – are reflecting on the past few days as they prepare to tackle the final stretch of their journey in Biggie’s house.
As the new week begins, housemates like Faith, Kaybobo, and Mide are regrouping after their love interests were evicted. In a roundtable chat shortly after the evictions last night, Mide checked in on Faith to see how he was holding up, particularly after finding out that Joanna shared a bed with Jason Jae.
Faith remarked that he had seen it coming. He then expressed his belief that the connection Mide shared with Bright Morgan didn’t hold much weight in the real world and questioned whether it would last. The other housemates took his comments lightly, sharing a good laugh over it.
As expected, the week kicked off with the Head of House games, and for the third time this season, Faith emerged as the Interim HoH, gearing up for the upcoming HoH Challenger. On a different note, Rooboy has been designated as the house snail for the week, and he has chosen to take on the task of doing the dishes throughout.
With only thirteen housemates remaining, some are finding ways to push their limits even further. For instance, Sultana mentioned that before entering the house, she was not one to compromise her personal space, but now she has learned to share and is eating more than she typically would outside.
Speaking of Sultana, she competed to the fullest against Koyin and Mide for the HoH Challenger and came out on the other end as the winner. This earned her a slot in the finale, and she also selected Isabella as her guest for the week. The second person who has bagged a slot in the finale is Mensan, who was named the Most Influential Player Of The Week.
Although the week has just begun, the events unfolding in the house are sure to influence how things unfold for the remainder of the week.
