The third round of Diary Sessions took place today, giving us a deeper glimpse into the hearts and minds of the housemates. Just like the earlier rounds, it was a mix of tears, confessions, juicy gist, and emotional highs and lows. The housemates opened up to Big Brother about their first few days in the house, the bonds they’re forming, early observations, and their thoughts on the season’s first HoH, Jason Jae.
Sultana
Sultana came into the Diary Room calm but ready to spill. She’s excited for her first official Thursday night Pool Party and says being in the house still feels unreal. While she’s happy to meet new people, it hasn’t been all sweet, calling out Ivatar and Isabella for being disrespectful. From trash duty drama to kitchen chaos, she didn’t hold back, especially after Isabella demanded, “Where’s my soup??” with a tone Sultana didn’t appreciate. “I’m not here to be anyone’s chef,” she snapped. On the softer side, she’s loving the sisterhood with Doris and couldn’t hide her blush when talking about how “amazing” Jason Jae is as HoH. Must be all those hugs, huh?
Mensan
Mensan’s Diary Room session was an emotional rollercoaster from start to finish. It began lightheartedly, with Big Brother complimenting his radiant smile and asking about his prisoner-style outfit, which Mensan proudly explained was a tribute to his roots. Then, out of nowhere, Mensan tearfully confessed he just wants to make his family proud, breaking down as he recalled their humble beginnings, sleeping packed on the floor like sardines. He also revealed he nominated KayBobo due to a past altercation, but the moment was less strategy, more raw vulnerability.
Sabrina
Sabrina stepped into the Diary Room beaming, saying she’s excited to be in the house despite kicking things off feeling unwell. Her energy started low, but now she’s back on a high. Reflecting on her journey, she admitted it’s been full of ups and downs, including a breakdown over a tummy ache. She gave Jason Jae props for his leadership but noted that he tends to overthink. True to her “girls’ girl” nature, she shared how she doesn’t like seeing people picked on and even called out Jason Jae for brushing off Gigi’s request to be music director. For nominations, she chose Big Soso and Zita, although she has since experienced a change of heart.
Rooboy
Rooboy entered the Diary Room full of gratitude, saying he loves all the housemates and even enjoys how they call him to eat. “Come on, Rooboy, come and eat!” He appreciates being catered to but revealed some tension with Jason Jae, who he felt rushed him during the props dinner. While Jason Jae claimed it was because he needed the toilet, Rooboy suspects jealousy, since he was getting a lot of attention from the house. He added that Jason Jae later told him, as his boy, he should’ve understood. Rooboy didn’t hold back, saying he doesn’t think Jason Jae is mentally fit to be HoH, calling his leadership shaky. He also gave love to Thelma Lawson and Big Soso for making the house feel warm. For nominations, he picked Mensan, saying he overdoes things, Zita, but he actually nominated Imisi, as rectified by Biggie.
Thelma Lawson
Thelma Lawson’s Diary Session was a blend of calm reflection and unexpected emotion. She shared that she’s enjoying the house and getting along with everyone, but didn’t hold back on her feelings about Zita, saying she was offended by her use of the “b” word to describe the ladies and disliked her harsh tone. She also mentioned she’s not a fan of people who shout, as it feels condescending. She nominated Otega, saying their “Alpha” energy might clash and bring out the worst in her, and Danboskid, who she initially didn’t understand but is slowly warming up to. Overcome with emotion, Thelma Lawson teared up as she spoke about how grateful she is for the opportunity, admitting she’s surprised it’s taken this long for her emotions to surface.
Victory
Victory said he’s doing fine and enjoying his time in the house, but admitted that the constant chaos in the house has left him with little time to actually think. Between the fights and the nonstop drama, he feels like everything’s been moving too fast to fully process what’s going on around him. He also confessed that he made the first move on Gigi Jasmine and that they have been having conversations, but he now needs time to think. Is it time to think or consider other options?
Tracy
During her diary session, Tracy revealed her struggle to find connection in the House. From supporting a vulnerable Jason Jae to calling out Mensan’s emotional gameplay, she’s walking a fine line between empathy and strategy, with Big Soso and her bestie, Kaybobo emerging as her closest allies.
Jason Jae
Jason Jae’s diary room session revealed the emotional weight behind his Head of House win, from skipping the HoH perks to being moved by Mensan’s tears, Jason is showing that strength in the BBNaija House isn’t just about power, but vulnerability too.
