The BB Naija All Stars housemates were in overdrive early this morning and went at each others throats, as the pressure of the imminent task presentation became too much to handle. While Pere called for the housemates to get ready for rehearsals, Venita had some choice words for him because, according to her, she was not in the habit of missing her lines or her cues.
Venita felt she has been committed to rehearsals, even when her fellow housemates didn't seem to be putting in the work, and being in the kitchen to prepare pounded yam didn't mean she needed to be ordered around. "I will burst your chest like balloons. I will burn you to the ground. I am not your mate," she yelled as her fellow housemates looked on. Pere was quickly whisked away to the bedroom by Alex and Cross, who didn't want to see the situation escalate.
Later this morning, Venita found Pere and apologised for her outburst. "You and I are not too far off in methods of wahala and we’re not supposed to have that. We're supposed to be peoples. For my part, I apologise," she said as they huddled in front of the bedroom door. Pere accepted her apology and also apologised for any offence caused. The two then hugged it out and each went their seperate ways.
Just when it seemed like all was well, another battle soon ensued, this time between Doyin, Ilebaye, and Uriel, also because of the task. The housemates had been woken up by HoH Adekunle for another set of rehearsals and were no doubt feeling groggy and on edge. Uriel was not happy that Ilebaye had laughed at Doyin’s highlight of the season and said as much, immediately throwing the house into chaos as voices were raised. Apparently, Uriel had worked on Doyin’s highlight, so she felt undermined and found Ilebaye’s actions annoying. The housemates battled to keep order, and eventually, Angel stepped in and hugged Uriel, imploring her to let it go so rehearsals could continue.
The first wager of the season seems to be bringing a lot of drama, and it has us wondering how the housemates will relate to each other once Biggie has given his verdict at the end of their task presentation. If they win, will they bury the hatchet and move on? If they lose, will the fights be more intense, as food rations will also become an issue?
