In today’s Diary Session, housemates had a different theory about the alliances in the house.
Imisi claimed she saw four distinct groups, each with a different purpose, and even named some of the members. Jason Jae, however, had his own ideas, believing that Zita and Tracy were a strategic force, while Imisi and Isabella were their own clique. But despite their theories, most of them agreed that they were not a part of any alliance because it was just a game.
Faith might have a double immunity, but his reign as Head of House is already causing a lot of friction. Jason Jae called him "the worst HOH so far," saying that Faith was being a lot to deal with. He was particularly frustrated with Faith waking him up just to get batteries, claiming that when he was HOH, he delivered them to everyone. Kola also felt that Faith was too strict and not compassionate enough, though he admitted it was funny to watch him run the house. Big Soso, in her own session, said that Faith had a way of "provoking people", but she was going to talk to him about it.
The Diary Room became a place for personal vendettas to be aired out. Kola told Biggie about his beef with Doris, who he said called him out for gossiping about Jason Jae. He also addressed his misunderstanding with Koyin over a comment he made, saying he didn't mean to insult him but would apologise. Jason Jae also confessed that he had to tell Sultana that he could not continue something with her because he had someone outside, and he knew that she was in pain and that people were talking behind his back.
Underneath all the gossip and drama, the housemates got real about their emotions. Big Soso shared her joy and sadness about her birthday month, admitting she felt bad for not being able to say "happy birthday" to her mom. Jason Jae spoke about how tired he was, but that he was motivated by the people who pushed for him to be in the house.
Also, Isabella said she is navigating a "bare minimum week" and feels others are selfish, though she's getting closer to Big Soso, Sultana, and Imisi. She asserted trust for potential alliances and sent Sultana to speak to Bright Morgan about her feelings for him. Since confessing her feelings, he has been distant. Isabella views Imisi as a strong contender because they express themselves freely. She also believes Faith could win due to his intelligence, but since becoming HOH, he has become controlling, which complicates her desire to befriend him.
The Diary Room was a place where all of the housemates' emotional truths came out, proving that the game is a lot more personal than it looks.
All housemates are up for possible eviction this week, with the exception of Head of House and Most Influential Player Of The Week Faith, Mensan, who has Red Envelope Immunity, and Zita, who was saved by the HoH via tree of trinkets.
