What began as a private conversation between Imisi and a fellow housemate has set both Biggie’s house and Kola’s life ablaze. Imisi approached Kola after receiving a warning from another housemate, claiming that Kola was using her and that their friendship wasn’t genuine. She wanted to clear the air, and Kola assured her that whoever had said that was simply trying to drive a wedge between them. That was the only conversation Imisi intended to have, but it seems to be the conversation Kola wants to revisit with other housemates.
Kola took the opportunity during a few media rounds today to explain his side, even speaking with Thelma Lawson. He emphasised that Imisi had shared her life story with him, including her experiences of rejection, which drew him closer to her. Their bond has remained strong since.
However, Kola’s constant praise of Imisi and his declarations of how well she is doing outside have raised suspicions. He soon discovered that Sultana was the one who had spoken to Imisi about it. Determined to clear his name, Kola made it his mission to set the record straight today – though tensions with Sultana show no signs of easing.
During tonight’s sponsored task, Kola and Sultana found themselves on opposing teams and faced off in a roasting game. Kola went first and checked in with Sultana when he noticed she seemed affected by some of his remarks, asking if she was taking it personally. She assured him she wasn’t, though by the end of the roast, she admitted that a comment about the guy’s beds “was no joke at all.” The heat between them appears to be escalating, ready to spark further conflict.
Imisi, meanwhile, is dealing with her own tension with Joanna. Joanna remained upset after last night’s clash when Imisi told her to “shut up.” Joanna clarified that she only retaliated because she felt insulted first. She is now ready to resolve the matter, questioning why such a minor issue is being blown out of proportion. “I take your climax to the beginning,” Joanna remarked, determined to dismantle any narrative Imisi might be playing.
With Kola and Sultana’s simmering tension, Imisi and Joanna’s feud, Faith’s current reign, and ongoing media rounds, it promises to be a long and dramatic week in Biggie’s house.
