It’s a brand new week in Biggie’s house, and the reality of the game is hitting the housemates hard. Week 5, themed “Face Your Fears,” is set to shake things up, bringing plenty of slimy, gooey, and crawling surprises – all designed to push the housemates outside of their comfort zones.
The Head of House (HoH) challenge from last night provided a tantalising preview of what’s in store, featuring a three-phased game that embodied the theme perfectly. The competition kicked off with the housemates reaching into a drawbox to randomly select their teams.
Once teams were formed, they jumped into a twist on the classic sack race. But this wasn’t your average race; the sacks were filled with slippery and gooey substances, which not only distracted them but also made for quite an entertaining spectacle.
After the first round, Bright Morgan, Doris, Jason Jae, Koyin, and Kuture emerged as the top performers and advanced to the next challenge. The second game, titled Find a Spider, required them to be nimble, keep a sharp eye, and strategise as they crawled to collect spiders (all done with harmless insect cutouts) from among various other insects.
In a thrilling head-to-head showdown, Doris and Jason Jae each managed to snag eleven correct spiders, thus securing their spot in the final game. For their last challenge, they had to dig into a bizarre soup to find the letters “HOH” using their noses and pick them out with their mouths, aiming to arrange them in the correct order on a tray.
This round was nothing short of a messy adventure, but both contestants gave it their all. In the end, Jason Jae emerged victorious, claiming the interim HoH title for the second time.
Today, Jason Jae selected his challengers: Bright Morgan, Dede, Koyin, Kuture, and Rooboy. They ventured on a series of 2 games. For the first game, while bound hand and legs, all six of them slithered from one end of the arena to the other, and popped balloons for a shot at the next round. Jason Jae, Kuture, and Rooboy advanced to the next round, which was filled with more jump scare moments.
In the end, Rooboy came out the winner of the HoH challenger, becoming the Head of House for week 5. He chose Dede as his guest. (A good way to replay her gesture from last week when she chose him as her guest).
On a different note, Mide was dubbed the house snail, and her selected punishment included donning a witch hat and snail shell, along with the task of washing the bathroom.
It looks like this week is off to an entertainingly slimy start, and we can’t wait to see what else unfolds! Looking forward to what more will crawl out of Biggie’s mystery box for the housemates to face.
