Having spent their first 48 hours settling in and figuring out how to navigate new relationships in Biggie’s House, the housemates had every reason to let loose and celebrate. Besides, in their minds, there’s a looming Eviction ready to claim its first departure this coming Sunday.
Pulling the season’s first big ruse, Biggie has set the Housemates up with Nominations that will be leading that will see no exits in the first week.
The impending Wager Task has also occupied the Housemates and their movements. Adekunle, already burdened with the weight of having to keep Biggie’s secret, intends to lead the pack to their first win.
The likes of Mercy Eke, however, have questioned his relaxed approach to the throne. She said on Day 2 that his style as the Head of House might cost them the Wager Task, which led to the unraveling of drama.
All of this is taking place as alliances are slowly taking shape in the House.
So the arrival of Princess’ birthday bashment was perfectly timed to ease some of the tension while giving the Housemates their first taste of a party on this season of Big Brother Naija. Taking a break from preparations of their first Wager Task, the faves gathered around for the good vibes.
Pere cosied up with Ilebaye as they caught the tempo in a saucy session that set the internet ablaze. Later, he would join Alex in her brief retreat away from the house vibe.
But while it may seem Pere is exploring and getting ready to pitch his tent for a potential ship, he also fessed up to being involved with someone. In other words, he is “not roaming”.
He is already connected to the “5G” towers. Here’s wondering if the said network will remain steady.
Soma seemed to be just as thrilled about the House vibes, and took the opportunity to enjoy the rhythms with Uriel and Tolanibaj. The session comes just hours after Uriel hinted at a major crush she has in the House during her Diary session. Despite Biggie’s attempts to dive into the bottom of said devotion, Uriel played coy and opted to keep some of the cards close to her chest.
Her undisclosed, certified lover boy is younger and, Uriel gushed to Biggie, deserved a good serving of breakfast every morning.
The Housemates proceeded to resume their preparations for the Wager Task. It will be the season’s first, but none of the All Stars are new to this. The upside is, the theme revolves around reflections of their journey on the show in their respective seasons, and how that weaves into their experience this time. That should be fun. During the Diary sessions, they spoke freely to Biggie about how they’ve changed between then and now.
Not as smooth is how critical Biggie might be. They are All Stars; their best will be expected.
