The season’s burning question has been whether Victory confessed love in the house – particularly towards Gigi Jasmine. Victory has long denied this, much to the frustration of Bright Morgan and the anguish of Gigi Jasmine, who has continued to feel humiliated by his shifting declarations.

Before the housemates stepped into the arena for the sponsored task, the orange “mic” went around for a grilling session that left Victory cornered. Under pressure, he addressed the entire house, even speaking directly to Sultana, insisting he wanted no part in disrupting her friendship with Gigi Jasmine. Victory claimed he had never confessed love to anyone and instead argued that Sultana was fond of many people in the house, adding that she had openly expressed interest in him. 

But Sultana wasn’t about to let his version of events stand unchallenged. After the task, she gathered the housemates and addressed the matter head-on. She stated that Victory’s ego had been bruised after learning that she had kissed Jason Jae. She also stressed that she had reassured Gigi Jasmine she would never betray her, knowing how painful that could feel. Sultana went further, exposing Victory by saying he not only told her he loved her but that he wanted to marry her.

At that point, Gigi Jasmine finally confronted Victory. She accused him of being a bad person and declared that she felt embarrassed in front of the entire house because of him. She admitted that her kindness and willingness to give him energy had made her look foolish. According to Gigi Jasmine, Victory confessed to having lied about liking Sultana and saying he deliberately stirred up trouble. The night he admitted to that, she confessed that she missed him. In turn, Victory told her he missed her too, and the two agreed to “start over.”

Victory, however, threw yet another curveball, admitting that the only person he truly liked in the house was Joanna, his previous HoH condo partner.

For Gigi Jasmine, this is further proof that Victory thrives on confusion. For Sultana, it’s confirmation that Victory’s so-called “strategy” is nothing but reckless. She told him plainly that whatever game he was trying to play was “a very stupid one” – and not one that would work with her.

So, is Sultana right? Is Victory’s strategy doomed to fail, or is it somehow working in his favour? One thing is certain: in the Big Brother Naija house, the jury is still out.
