The pressure to bring their A game has continuously turned up a notch throughout the weeks and their live performances have been a blast. From performing alongside seasoned artists to being mentored for their solo performances, the Idols doubled up on the pressure and delivered stellar showdowns every time they stepped on the main stage.

While we credit their talent for taking them this far, our Idols received some interesting tips during their rehearsals that catapulted their performances to the next level. We’re all about going the extra mile and thanks to our guest artists we think they truly put in the work.  From the chemistry in the duets to their interactions with the audience, the Idols received top-form tips on how to make any live show performance as epic as it can be.

Kelly Khumalo rocked the stage with Zee and Noxolo. Every performance brought a unique twist for each Idol, catering to their voice while encouraging them to step out of their comfort zone and give the performance of a lifetime.

We are here for the choreography! 🔥 Boohle blew the roof with each performance, from Tesmin-Robyn to Nandi’s. The ladies put on their party hats and dropped some bomb performances that lit up the stage. Here’s what some fans had to say about her performances.

Nomfundo Moh brought her resonant voice, matching it perfectly with Kabelo and Lerato. Her stage presence carried through each performance while supporting each Idol to give it their all. Her unique sound effortlessly flowed through the reverberating walls of the Heartfelt Arena spotlighting the talent on display.

Langa Mavuso mixed it up with heartfelt and passion-filled performances with Hope and Nozi, each stirring vivid emotions and ultimately delivering an iconic live show performance. Mavuso’s charming presence brought magic to each number, captivating the audience and his duet partners.

Mpilwenhle and Ty Loner partnered with Presss and successfully delivered memorable entertainment for each show. While Presss smashed his performances out of the park, we think our Idols charmed him more, we will excuse him for gushing.😉 After each performance, he shared his praise for each contestants' approach to his songs – including some he never considered possible for a duet. We guess a collaboration might be in the books one day.

Mduduzi brought a cheerful and exciting vibe to the main stage. His approach to performances with Ceejay and Thapelo tapped into their talent and confidence. If you tuned in for these performances, we’re sure you wouldn’t have missed it. Mduduzi’s vocal prowess and expressive showdown were worth celebrating.

All in all, the past two weeks have been pretty epic and thanks to an exciting twist to the live shows, we got to enjoy some of the most memorable duets in Idols SA.
