As for the performances, six of the remaining Idols SA Top 12 took to the stage in what turned out to be the most epic showdown. It was fire!🔥 The judges and the audience were in for a treat. The Idols did their homework and put in the work for their live show performances. From the chemistry in their duets to their solo performances, they left no stone unturned.

To kick off the show, Noxolo was the first contestant on stage, partnering with Kelly Khumalo. She delivered a beautiful performance that earned her praise from Kelly Khumalo. Fans were also impressed by their performance. This is what they had to say about it.

Nandi on the other hand stepped it up and brought the party to the main stage with her duet. She partnered with Boohle who threw in some choreography to spice up their performance. It was a whole vibe, and the crowd was impressed. Nandi gave a heartfelt and passionate performance that left us wowed.

Ceejay won the audience’s favour with a charming and tuneful duet with Mduduzi Ncube and topped it off with his solo performance of Love Nwantini. His stage presence rocked the judges and Thembi couldn’t agree more. He walked away with an exciting commendation from JR while Somizi dropped the sought-after “Woo shem!”

Ty Loner kicked off his duet with the classic Cry No More alongside Presss. The guest artist was thoroughly impressed by his approach to music. His rendition of Last Last by Burna Boy not only left the crowd buzzing but his performance urged JR to tell Ty Loner to remember him when he becomes successful.

At this point, we knew social media would be on fire thanks to the amazing performances. Many were in awe of the level of the performances they witnessed and agreed that group two really stepped up for the night. To close it off on a high note, Nozi took to the stage with a chemistry-filled duet with Langa Mavuso and topped it off with a dance-worthy rendition of Beyoncé’s latest hit Break My Soul.

They had the privilege of not only performing alongside established artists in Mzansi, but also of being mentored by them for their solo performances.
