It's been a wild ride of running and hiding but now, just as Zama is living her best life with her new flame, Bheki makes his way to the family's hiding place and surprises her.

After finally finding Thando, Zama finally opens up to her about why they had to run in order to protect themselves. She relives all the things Bheki has done to her and that leaves Thando in disbelief.

Lerato has been in her feels since getting close to Tebogo and after confronting their feelings, they realise they are on the same page until they get caught.

Zama has been trying to keep it together but the walls are closing in. Now, her children plus Lerato's crush find her crying and drunk, unable to hold back as she vents that no one loves her especially their father.

After trying to make her way out of this hiding place, Zama schemed her way to getting the women in the community to trust her with their money but now she got busted and they won't let it go until she pays them back.

Bheki now knows that his family is all well and alive but when Zama finds out her secret is now out, she plans a money-making scheme that's supposed to see her and the children making it to Botswana but she quickly gets busted.

Thabang has been very determined in making sure that Zama and her children are taken care of while they are in hiding. While he takes up he task of teaching Zama how to shoot, she takes the opportunity to get to know him more personally.

Zama is on a mission to protect herself and her children now that Bheki is out on bail but Thabang is not having any of it. While they rest assured that Bheki thinks they are dead, he is over at their house discovering the truth courtesy of their own daughter.

The kids have now started at a new school but it's going to take some getting used to. When Lerato gets introduced to her new class, she's welcomed by some tension and jealousy and when she passes her first maths test, the bully takes things to the next level.

The lies have commerced now that Bheki has been arrested. The police have her and the children away and living with different identities but they left out the fact that she might also end up in jail after testifying.

Zama quickly realises that her husband is not who she thinks he is and this all happens when she gets a visit from the police, giving her all the information of who he has killed and what he is planning on doing to her.
