Maisha Magic Movies lands eight nominations on the AMVCAs

Maisha Magic Movies has once again proven its prowess in the film industry by garnering eight nominations in three different categories at the AMVCAs.

The Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Awards (AMVCAs) is an annual event that celebrates the best of African film and television productions. This year, the event has included eight of Maisha Magic Movies productions in three different categories.

In the category of Best Indigenous Language Movie or TV Series – Swahili, two of Maisha Magic Movies' productions have been nominated. Frida by Wilson Nkya and Jane Moshi, and Mvamizi (The Intruder) by Wilson Nkya and Philipo Ngonyani are both strong contenders for this prestigious award.

The Multichoice Talent Factory Film category has also seen two of Maisha Magic Movies' productions nominated. Cheza and Stinger are both remarkable films that showcase the immense talent of the producers and actors involved.

In the Best Movie East Africa category, Maisha Magic Movies has received four nominations. Baba Twin’ by Lucy Mwangi, Frida by Wilson Nkya and Jane Moshi, Dial M for Maya by Gashumba Emmanuel, and Mvamizi (The Intruder) by Wilson Nkya and Philipo Ngonyani are all worthy of the award.

The audience is welcome to vote for their favourite productions here. Voting will close on 12 May at 23:00. It is an opportunity for fans of Maisha Magic Movies to show their support for their favourite productions. However, the judges will have the final say.

Maisha Magic Movies has been at the forefront of promoting African cinema and these nominations are a testament to the quality of their productions.
