She can sing. She can act. She has a Transformer as a best pal. Hailee Steinfeld started acting at the age of ten, has been nominated for an Oscar, and her future involves playing the poet Emily Dickinson.
This Sunday night she’s the star of your M-Net Sunday night movie, Bumblebee. As fans of this incredible actress we can’t wait to watch her, as well as all the awesome action a Transformers movie delivers.

True Grit (2010)
Steinfeld was just 14 when she made her impressive feature film debut in this Western revisionist remake by the Coen brothers. Holding her own against stalwarts such as Jeff Bridges, Matt Damon, and Josh Brolin, the young actress landed an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her portrayal of the tough and determined Mattie Ross.
Begin Again (2013)
Three years later she got the chance to learn to play guitar in this musical dramedy starring Keira Knightley and Mark Ruffalo. Steinfeld plays the daughter of Ruffalo’s character and turns in a great performance as a precocious teen trying to deal with her parents’ estranged marriage.

Pitch Perfect 2 (2015)
From one musical to the next, the actress got a chance to show off her singing ability when she joined the Pitch Perfect franchise and became a Barden Bella. She made such an impression with her singing, it led to a successful music career.

The Edge of Seventeen (2016)
A meaty role awaited in this coming-of-age drama. Steinfeld plays the seventeen-year-old of the title, battling troubled relationships with her brother and mother. Impressing critics and audiences yet again, she landed a Golden Globe nomination for the part.

Gwen Stacey has spider-like abilities and her alter ego is called Spider-Woman. Steinfeld voiced the character in this highly-acclaimed, Oscar-winning animation, giving her the chance to play a superhero!
