LIV Golf Chicago preview, 21-24 September 2023

SuperSport, the biggest sports broadcaster in Africa, brings viewers on DStv all the action from LIV Golf Chicago, live from Rich Harvest Farms in Sugar Grove, Illinois, from Thursday 21 to Sunday 24 September 2023.

This will be the second edition of LIV Golf Chicago, with last year’s event seeing Australian Cameron Smith emerging as the individual winner, while the team prize was claimed by 4 Aces GC (Talor Gooch, Dustin Johnson, Pat Perez and Patrick Reed).

Team play is a major attraction in LIV events and sets the circuit apart from the PGA Tour as much as its shotgun starts, 54-hole events and 48-player fields. The circuit's battle cry is, "Golf is Louder Here."

“We're on track to be bigger and better than last year's very successful tournament," said executive vice president-marketing at Rich Harvest Alex Kline-Wedeen."

Beyond the golf, side attractions at Rich Harvest include Club 54, the Birdie Shack on the 16th hole and the "watering hole" at No. 17. There'll be concerts in the Fan Village after play on Saturday and Sunday. Three-time Grammy winner Nelly will perform on Saturday and Grammy-nominated Tiesto on Sunday.

Rich Harvest Farms features a 7408-yard par 72 course and the purse for LIV Golf Chicago is $20million.
