At the start of Day 67, the end is so near the housemates must be able to smell it. After all this time trapped in that house, they will be itching to see some fresh faces as well as some old ones in the form of family and friends.
Up to about this point, their thoughts would have been consumed by strategy: who to nominate, how to win HoH, how to produce a successful wager. All of this would be geared toward staying in the house as long as possible and making that stay as pleasant as possible.
Now, though – it’s a bit different. There are only two rounds of public voting left, and the housemates will realise that very little is left in their hands. They’re either going to make it through this next vote, or not. If they do, then all they’ve got ahead of them is to wait for the finale and see how it goes. All they really can do is try to win over audience votes by their actions in the house, but that’s what they’ve been doing this whole time, so … back to square one.
There’s also the question of today’s wager task presentation. Even with 100% of their BB Tokens on the line, a loss would mean reduced stocks for – a little more than a week? They’d be forgiven for not worrying too much about it. And yet, they are. They’ve been putting in quite a bit of work on a task that is, let’s face it, difficult. Each of them will be hoping that they make it into the final week, and each of them will want that final week to be comfortable as possible.
So, if the housemates don’t have a lot to do, who does? Well, if you read the title to this piece, you’d know the answer. It’s all up to you. Everything about how this ends is up to you. If there is someone you want to have win, you need to vote, not sit back and hope that others will do the work for you. If there is somebody you desperately hope does not win, you need to vote for somebody else.
