Maio's musical journey began with a spark of jealousy – he was captivated by another singer's voice and the attention it commanded. However, that jealousy transformed into a burning passion to harness his own talent. Maio made it to the Top 29 on season 8, however his journey was cut short. That set back did not stop him from returning this season. He returns to rewrite his Nigerian Idol story with a renewed desire to prove himself. This time, he's "coming for everything!"
