Ric Hassani is the technical judge this season. He brings vigour, tenacity, and a fiery passion for good singing. For Ric, self-awareness and the willingness to learn and improve are some of the things it take to win. Ric welcomes disagreements with his fellow judges, and will approach them with grace.

Batto poured his heart into his Nigerian Idol audition, but the judges felt his vocals fell short. Despite the discouragement, Batto refuses to give up on his dream and will return maybe next year to try again.
