Having been spared the rod as a child, Ugo is completely submerged in entitlement and absolutely refuses to better himself simply because 'he's great and they know it'. The past is clearly more glorious than his present and despite everyone's inability to see his 'soccer star' spark re-igniting, he insists that he'll be great again.
