This week, the housemates took on a unique challenge as they embarked on a mission to save the planet Earth. The task at hand was to create five trees from recycled items, and the stakes were high, with a wager worth 7500 Moniepoint coins on the line.
What made this task even more special was Big Brother's decision to involve three former housemates in the wager presentation. Among them were Ozo from Lockdown, Chizzy from Level Up, and Vendora from Double Wahala. These former housemates would play a pivotal role in assessing and rating the current contestants' performance, scoring them on a scale of 1 to 5.
The wager presentation kicked off with a bang, featuring a captivating song and a grand entrance, setting the stage for what was to come. Angel delivered a thought-provoking poem alongside stunning contemporary dance routines by Neonergy, Cross, and Ilebaye. The housemates left no stone unturned in their efforts to impress both the wager judges and Big Brother.
In total, they awarded the current housemates a score of 11.5 points. However, it wasn't all smooth sailing, as Chizzy rated them only 2.5 points, in contrast to the 5 and 4 points given by the others.
Sholzy took the responsibility of highlighting each member's contribution to the task. These contributions spanned various aspects, including creativity, technical skills, cutting expertise, dance, and music. Every housemate had played a role in at least one of these aspects, showcasing their unity and teamwork.
One notable point of contention was Biggie's observation that the housemates did not present the actual trees they had created. However, this did not deter them from securing a victory. Big Brother commended Sholzy for his "outstanding leadership," which played a pivotal role in their win. As the week progressed, the housemates diligently worked on their recycled trees, even completing most of them before the usual Thursday pool and grill party. This marked a remarkable departure from previous HoH reigns when wagers often remained incomplete until the last minute.
Watch Venita and Sholzy argue over wager preparations:
The question now is whether the next HoH will carry forward this discipline and winning streak.
