When family turns against you, the pain is unimaginable. For Iya Biliki, the deepest wound came from the one person she trusted most — her own daughter. What could drive Biliki to destroy her mother’s life and freedom? The answer lies in greed, pride, and a single decision that changed everything.
A mother on the run
Iya Biliki was wanted by the police for trafficking. Determined to stay hidden, she went into hiding. But her daughter Biliki was restless, tired of laying low and making no money. Behind her mother’s back, Biliki accepted a lucrative job Iya Biliki had previously turned down.
Biliki receives a dangerous warning
Soon after, Biliki began having haunting dreams of someone trying to kill her. Consulting her trusted traditionalist, she was told the dreams meant nothing — but warned that she needed to cut ties with her mother and move far away if she wanted to succeed.
Biliki proposed they relocate together, but her mother dismissed the idea and took the opportunity to criticise her. Hurt and angry, Biliki’s resentment boiled over.
The betrayal
Before leaving town, Biliki tipped off the police about her mother’s exact location — adding a cruel twist: she lied that Iya Biliki had killed her own daughter. The raid was swift. Iya Biliki was arrested, arraigned, and sent to prison. She had no clue who had betrayed her… until Amaka revealed the unthinkable — Biliki had been her fiercest competitor in Enugu all along.
Why would a daughter turn on her own mother in such a brutal way?
