Soma has become one of Venita's trusted confidantes amidst trouble in paradise with Adekunle.
Soma and Venita

The intriguing dynamic between Venita and Adekunle has left the house shaken. After their dinner date and a frosty breakfast, Venita has found solace and a confidante in an unexpected source: Soma.

Watch Venita open up to Soma:

Last night's dinner date between Venita and Adekunle was supposed to be a romantic rendezvous, a chance for the two to connect on a deeper level. However, it did not go as expected for Venita, leaving Venita emotionally bruised. It was as if a storm had rolled through their budding romance, leaving destruction in its wake.

It was clear that there were unresolved issues that needed addressing. After the first round of tonight's task, Soma decided to step in and check on Venita. Venita opened up to Soma about the turmoil in her heart. She confessed, "I feel like the most played." Her statement shed light on her feelings of vulnerability and betrayal. She felt that Adekunle had strategically positioned himself to win her over, all while ensuring there was an audience to witness his advances. Venita's emotional turmoil was further complicated by her growing doubts about the authenticity of her connection with Adekunle.

During their conversation, Venita couldn't help but draw parallels between her conversation with Soma and his ship with Angel. She pondered, "Is this how Angel feels?"

It's worth noting that Venita's journey of seeking comfort from fellow housemates began with Angel. After the disastrous dinner date, she retreated to the bathroom, where Angel provided a comforting presence during her emotional breakdown.

In addition to Angel, Venita also sought counsel from Mercy Eke. Her advice struck a chord with Venita, as she emphasised the importance of relationships withstanding the pressures of the house if they were to endure outside of it.

Will Venita choose to confront Adekunle about her feelings and the perceived games he played? Will she allow herself to be vulnerable with him once more, or will she decide that it's time to move on?
