The night kicked off with a hilarious game of Broken Telephone on Canvas, where the housemates were divided into groups of Observers, Messengers, and Painters. Dede and Mide, stationed in the Citrine Bedroom as Observers, received a picture from Biggie. Their job was to whisper what they saw to the Messenger – none other than HoH Thelma Lawson – who then passed it along until it reached the Painters, Koyin and Zita.

The outcome? A painting featuring planes and pyramids inside baskets – a far cry from the original artwork, but enough to send the house into fits of laughter.

But the mood didn’t stay light for long.

After the game, Thelma Lawson read the party brief and quickly asserted her authority. With Biggie’s team handling the grill, she announced that she would be controlling the distribution of drinks. This did not sit well with Imisi, who questioned why Thelma Lawson was introducing rules that weren’t in the brief. What followed was a heated frenzy that led to a fiery exchange between Thelma and Isabella – two housemates whose rocky relationship is no secret. Insults flew, past grievances were aired, and Thelma Lawson even called out Isabella for once hoarding an entire bottle to herself.

And then came the cigarette drama.

Sultana was caught hiding cigarettes in her trousers. Faith, unimpressed, demanded that she hand over his 20 immediately. In the chaos, Sultana lost an earring pin and refused to give up the cigarettes until she found it, storming off and leaving Faith fuming. This, in turn, drew Jason Jae into the mix, as he accused Faith of acting childish. Faith, however, was convinced Jason Jae was siding with Sultana. Jason Jae denied this, insisting he just wanted to de-escalate things, but his attempts to calm Sultana, Imisi, and Isabella seemed to do little good.

By the time the pool party rolled around, tensions were still high, and Imisi and Isabella were spotted clashing in the garden more than once. Whatever was said remains unknown – but one thing is certain: the drama of Thelma Lawson’s party rules will spill over into the days ahead.
