The moment the housemates returned to the house, it was clear that the departure of Doris had hit some of them hard. Jason Jae, Isabella, and Sultana were seen standing together in all black, looking sad and sombre. But no one felt the loss more than Denari, who was seen looking at Doris' picture on the wall. Joanna was also shocked and told Kola that Doris was the first person she spoke to in the house. The housemates were left trying to make sense of what had just happened. Kola said that he was scared because of the roast with Sultana, Thelma Lawson and Joanna, but they both told him that the roast was just a reflection of what they all said in the house. Thelma Lawson also said that you have to be your own person, even if you are in a ship.

Amidst all the shock and grief, the game moved on. Faith won the Head of House title for the second time, becoming the interim Head of House, and he chose Joanna to be his guest again. But the biggest surprise came when Mensan was announced as the house snail for the week. The housemates quickly tried to cheer him up, with Joanna telling him to soak up the good things and not focus on the bad. She compared him to Thelma Lawson, saying that they can both pop off, but that they have grown since week one. Isabella also talked to Denari, telling him not to worry about Doris, as she was smart and did well to last six weeks in the house.

The housemates were seen giving each other advice and encouragement. Isabella told Denari that Doris used to feed him and that she would also include him in her cooking. Koyin also went up to Denari and told him that he was very talented and that he had to push for Doris' sake. He also compared him to Zita, who lost her partner, Danboskid, but was now shining in the house.

Amidst all of these mixed emotions in the house, Kaybobo was elated to have won the Most Influential Player of the Week. Felt like a full circle moment for him as he had just cried about his contributions not being recognised in his diary room last week, and earlier today (just before the Live Show), he and Imisi had talked about the evictions and how people vote for them based on their performance in the house. Imisi also said that Kaybobo was always fighting with her in the kitchen and that he should just ignore her when it comes to kitchen problems.

It seems that even though the house is in chaos, the housemates still have their own moments of vulnerability and kindness.
