It’s déjà vu in Biggie’s house, as 20 housemates find themselves up for possible eviction after a nomination process that unfolded in a familiar, yet equally tense, fashion.
Just like last week, the nominations show kicked off with a frantic red envelope hunt around the house. The housemates tore through every corner, leaving no cushion unturned, but luck wasn’t on their side. The closest they came was Otega’s late discovery, a mere second after the buzzer sounded. To his shock, the envelope he was forced to hand over to HoH Tracy contained the very immunity card that eluded them all last week.
From there, it was time for the Tree of Trinkets to make its move. Tracy, still riding high after claiming the HoH crown yesterday, drew the power to save. Without hesitation, she chose to rescue Kuture from possible eviction. Kuture, taking his lucky break in stride, offered his fellow housemates a cheeky, “Better luck next time” as he stepped into safety.
Another surprise immunity went to the house’s Most Influential Player, Rooboy. Chosen by his peers for the title, neither he nor the housemates who voted for him expected the twist that followed. The Ninja arrived with an envelope containing the good news – Rooboy was safe for the week.
Meanwhile, Isabella found herself in the firing line yet again after being crowned the “Snail of the House” for being the slowest during the HoH games yesterday. She automatically earned a spot on the nominations list over and above wearing a clown outfit this week.
Just when the house thought the drama was over, Biggie revealed a fresh twist – the Red Telephone. Its rules are simple but sinister: when it rings, the nearest housemate must answer and carry out whatever instructions are given. If no one picks up, HoH Tracy will have the authority to assign the unlucky recipient. The message was clear – the housemates must remain alert at all times, because when the Red Telephone rings, it will never be by accident.
Despite the looming tension, there was some good news. The housemates’ consistent high-quality performance this week boosted the prize pot from ₦10,000,000 to ₦17,500,000, with another chance to push it even higher in the coming days.
With 20 housemates on the chopping block, the race for survival is about to get even more intense. Every move will count as they battle for another week in the game, a place in the finale, and ultimately, the grand cheque.
