Faith, adamant about rationing eggs and other food items, had noticed that the cigarettes weren’t getting the same careful treatment. In protest, he hid the lighter, which sparked outrage among those desperate for a smoke. Kuture wasn’t having it; he fetched Faith from outside, and the argument raged on indoors.
This unexpected blow-up came after what had been a more sombre day – one already heavy with complex feelings, especially in matters of the heart.
The romantic terrain inside Biggie’s house is becoming trickier by the day. If it’s not Gigi Jasmine struggling with her friendship with Sultana over the attention of certain gents, it’s Jason Jae battling to explain why he kissed Sultana in the first place.
Earlier, Gigi Jasmine confided in Ivatar about confronting Sultana for spending time in bed with Victory until 4am, knowing full well about her connection with him. At last night’s Live Show, Ebuka turned up the heat, asking Victory why he chose Joanna during his HoH reign instead of Gigi Jasmine – a question that may have reopened old wounds. Still, that didn’t stop Gigi Jasmine from asking Victory for a foot massage later that night. Could there still be some lingering attraction she’s keeping under wraps?
Meanwhile, Jason Jae’s plan for a “Dede-free” week didn’t quite pan out. As one of the three men interested in Dede, he ended up in an intimate garden chat with her earlier in the day, which only deepened by evening.
Jason Jae admitted he enjoys his connection with Dede but is trying to distance himself to avoid forming expectations. Dede, curious about what those expectations might be, listened as he opened up about feeling isolated in the house – like he’s everyone’s go-to person, but has no one for himself. Both confessed to missing each other.
In another conversation, Dede likened their situation to a breakup, saying his cold shoulder had left her feeling shut out. Jason Jae had initially avoided the talk, but Dede persisted, and the two seemed to clear the air – until she later raised one final, and very thorny, issue.
The subject? Jason Jae’s post-Saturday Turn Up kiss with Sultana. Given that Sultana and Dede don’t see eye-to-eye, Dede struggled to understand how he could criticise her ties with Koyin and Kola, yet turn around and kiss someone who openly dislikes her.
With tempers flaring, feelings resurfacing, and old wounds reopening, the question now is: will this web of entanglements ever be untangled? Or is Biggie’s house destined for even more chaos before the week is over?
