Today, Biggie called for a flood of tears and housemates delivered. Disguised as individual tasks, Biggie remanded the housemates to the bedroom and called them out one after the other to come perform the "task". When they each came out, they soon realised that the task was around how soon and easily they could break into tears because not only was it not a task, it was an emotional moment as they were reunited with one of their loved ones (each).
The emotional moments began when Koyin was called into the lounge. He instantly broke down upon seeing what appeared to be his father. His father, calm and composed, reassured him: "Everyone is fine, we are fine. Keep it up. We are praying for you." Following this, Faith entered the arena. He reacted not with tears, but with an instant, bright smile as his father spoke life into him, proclaiming, "It is always lonely at the top, and the top is meant for you."
The tears truly began to flow with Dede, who instantly started crying at the sight of her soft-spoken mother. Dede tried to guess which family member was there and pleaded with her mother not to cry. Once escorted to the garden, Dede was visibly distraught, and Koyin was quick to console her.
The emotional check-in continued with Isabella, who instantly asked about her son when she saw her family friend. She cried with relief as she heard all was well at home and that his birthday had been celebrated perfectly.
Mide’s reaction was pure instinct; she ran straight to her mother, trying to hug her through the barrier, her mother encouraging her to stay strong.
The reunion brought a mix of emotional release and personality-filled moments. Zita instantly started crying when she saw her brother, whose high energy and hype were undeniable. She even joked, "Tell mommy I will apologise, ehh," before the two shared a synchronised dance, reflecting the lively personality Zita had maintained in the house.
Imisi’s reaction was a loud scream, quickly followed by tears as her sister expressed love and positivity. Jason Jae was instantly taken by surprise to see "His g". His friend said, "You are my finalist, I don't care what anyone says. We gotchu, I'm proud of you". Rooboy walked into the arena and immediately bent in respect before his father. He cried, confessing how much he missed his mother, as his dad reassured him of the family's total support.
Kola also ran to his mother and cried, but the moment quickly turned joyful as his mother cheered, "Koli popo," and they danced together, his mother affirming, "Thank you for being the child I raised."
The raw emotion was a lot for some housemates to handle. Mensan cried at the first glance of his father but quickly became overwhelmed, screaming, "Big brother, pleaseee, let me hear," as he tried to turn off the loud music in his headphones.
The final moments of the surprise were filled with comforting gestures. Sultana cried as she was reassured by her sister that she was supported and loved on the outside. Her sister told her, "You have nothing to worry about." As a tearful Sultana was escorted out, Jason Jae held her in his arms.
Kaybobo was the last housemate, and he fell to his knees in the arena as his mother spoke prayers and praises over him. He left the arena in tears, saddened that he hadn't been able to physically hug his mom. When he later went to the garden where the rest were, Isabella went to support him through his sadness.
As the day settled, the magnitude of the surprise was clear. Faith, who had simply smiled earlier, was now sitting alone in silence, digesting the full weight of the emotional day.
The housemates' brief reunion served as a powerful reminder of what they were fighting for, putting an emotional cap on their challenging journey.
