Kaybobo and Thelma Lawson engaged in honest and open conversations as they unpacked their recent interactions.
Kaybobo warned Thelma Lawson that, when she steps out of the house, she should be aware of his Week 7’s diary session, admitting he had a lot of critical things to say. He expressed disappointment over Thelma Lawson’s Head of House reign, saying, “I expected a lot from you because I placed you on a high ranking, and it dropped.”
Thelma Lawson shared her side of the story. She mentioned the infamous egg situation during her HoH tenure last week, where she argued with Kaybobo over eggs, and reflected on her experiences in the house, admitting that she goes all out for friends but has often faced betrayal. “Even with Rooboy, he made me feel like that,” she said.
She acknowledged she may have said something to Kaybobo during her reign that offended him, and she expressed regret, noting that friends argue. She also made it clear to Kaybobo that him sleeping in her bed was simply for companionship and nothing more.
Meanwhile, other housemates were reflecting on the task speeches. Mide and Kola had a conversation about what they wrote. Mide admitted she hadn’t realised multiple people could write such nice speeches. Both agreed that the task highlighted the importance of friendships in the house.
Discussions about deeper feelings soon followed. Kola spoke about Imisi and how she prays for him, while Mide revealed that Sultana had previously told Imisi that Kola was using her; a suspicion Mide admitted she also had similar thoughts.
Kola clarified the true value of the friendship, but Mide confessed one concern that Imisi seems a little too attached. “It’s giving she likes him more and is jealous,” she said, comparing it to Koyin and Dede, having feelings but knowing it won’t go anywhere.
Things easily get complicated in the Big Brother house. Alliances, friendships, and trust are layered and fragile, highlighting that emotional connections can be both comforting and challenging.
