Get to Know the Comedians even better:

Bob is arguably Zambia’s most successful with a creative career spanning over 20 years. He is probably best known for his alter ego character of Dorika Ndaifulila SC. He is a master of creating characters and conceptual bits in place of traditional joke telling. Bob Nkosha has one of the sharpest comedic minds in the country. He is winner of M-Net’s Stand Up Comedy Zambia competition.

Mwine Mushi and Kasaka

The comedic duo have been the best comedy tag team to come from the Copperbelt. Mwine Mushi plays the character of a village headman with Kasaka as his right handman (induna). They depict everyday village life and act as the go to pair for counsel on ALL life matters of their villagers.

Handsome Kalad, better known as HK has been performing across the country for the last 5 years. He has opened for South Africa’s Trevor Noah and also performed at the Ngoma Awards. His references to everyday life happenings of an ordinary person are hilarious and make him a favourite amongst comedy lovers. HK presents himself as a lower class person who has ‘made it’ and has become a member of an elite middle class but still struggles to adapt to the hectic demands of his newly acquired social status.

Cheelo Mwana Chingwala

Cheelo Mwana Chingwala has over the last three years risen as a strong voice of comedy having started off as a comedian at University of Zambia. He is a regular feature at the one of the country’s biggest comedy show, Laugh Out Now. Cheelo is popularly known for his satirical commentary on local trending topics on his now popular Facebook page called Toilet Sit.

Mkushi Accents

The duo of Kapembwa and K-Star of the ‘Tilowa’ fame better known as Mkushi Accents has of late taken accent mimicking to another level. Who would have thought that a rapper and poet would take the local comedy by storm as the two have done the last 12 months? Let’s just say they have managed to make ‘Kulowa’ cool. Should you miss any of their shows, Balowa.

Remember to use the hashtag #ZMComedyNight on social media to show off your tickets once you've purchased them and on the comedy night.
