Abi Mali, Caroline Mutale and Faithfulness Ng'ambi did everything that any aspiring Zambian star would dream of. This was the first time Caroline and Faithfulness left their country and to say they were excited would be an understatement.
"I was so nervous but excited at the same time," Caroline said when asked about her first flight experience. It was also the first time for the girls to record in a studio - the trip was really one of firsts. The large recording studio in downtown Johannesburg has hosted a number of renowned South African artists like the gret Brenda Fasie, Lucky Dube and many more. So, this was a huge privilege for the girls.
Before heading home, the Top trio made a pit stop at the Zambian High Commission in Pretoria where they paid a courtesy call on the High Commissioner, His Excellency Emmanuel Mwamba who encouraged them to focus on their craft and not allow fame to consume them.
Sun City Was Lit!
Then the three visited the mighty Sun City where they enjoyed a number of water games, punctuated with busking in the sun. The highlight of the trip was meeting the Idols South Africa Season 12 Top 3 at the star-studded Idols SA Finale.
Next time we see the Dreams Top 3, they will be ready to hit the stage for the final time as we await the announcement of the ultimate winner.
