Stacy Joins Dreams Top 7!

25 January 2018
In a twist of events, Top 25 finalist Stacy Makayi got the rare chance of being recalled into the competition.

Having fallen off the Dreams wagon at the tail-end of Bootcamp, 23 year old Stacy was shocked to receive the news that she had to fix her voice box as she was headed to the Dreams House.

Born Chilombo Makayi, Stacy is originally from Kitwe, but currently based in Lusaka where she's doing her second year in Library and Information Studies at Evelyn Hone College.

Asked when she discovered that she can sing, Stacy said "we were prepping for a children's presentation at my local church when I was given a chance to lead a song, I was 13 then and the church choir master never let me go from then".

Having been directed by friend to Dreams via social media, Stacy says her family and friends were instrumental in her eventually taking the plunge and vying for the competition. "I decided to audition right here in Lusaka and boom! I was picked. Being on Dreams has been a great achievement with regards to my singing/music career and I can't wait for what lies ahead in the Dreams House".
