Who would have thought that the reserved Preachers kid who had never been exposed to secular music would be the last one standing in the first ever Zambezi Magic Dreams singing competition? After 15 gruelling weeks of Auditions, Bootcamp and Live shows, Faithfulness Ng'ambi emerged the best of the thousands of hopefuls who entered Dreams.
In a star-studded grand finale held at the Raddisson Blu Hotel in the heart of Zambia's capital, Lusaka, Dreams Host Cleo Ice Queen announced the Chingola finalist's win alongside Judges Kenny, Kuni and Thandi who had all held it down throughout the season.
Coming a close second was the equally talented Caroline Mutale who was also one of the favourites and Abi Mali was the second runner-up. Faithfulness walked away with K100,000.00 cash, a recording and publishing deal courtesy of Jadba and Sony ATV, a one year endorsement deal from Interfashional Africa who will be dressing her up and ensuring that she looks lavish and stylish throughout the year.
The winning moment
Congratulations Faithfulness.
