"The heart of a father is the masterpiece of nature.”

Fathers come in all shapes and sizes, some are biological and some aren’t. Fathers are the ones we turn to when we have a disagreement with mom and are willing to do anything to protect us. They can also wear different hats depending on the situation that they are in, they can be the disciplinarian, the teacher and the friend. 

Here’s a look at our #ZambeziMagic Fathers. 

Nguzu - #ZMMpali Mon - Thurs at 20:30hrs 

"You can love someone like your son, even if he's not your biological son, and you can love someone like your father, even if he's not your biological father." Oliver Hudson 

Nguzu has been a father to many. He’s been a father to Cepha’s, Hambe, Mwanida for all of their lives even though they were not his biological children, something he found out recently. He found out that his biological son was Jairos. Although he was hurt by this discovery, he still included all of his children on his will and left them in charge of the farm when he retires. Nguzu is a strict parent and requires discipline from his children and that they work for everything that they have. 

We think it’s amazing that upon finding out that the children were not his, he did not cut them off. 

Limbani - #ZMUncleLimbani Fridays at 20:30hrs

"Fathers are the first friend you make and the last love of your life."

We know Limbani as the funny guy who is always trying to get-rich-quickly but witnessing him as a father makes us understand him a lot better. His son does not live with him, he lives with his grandmother and comes and visits at times. Limbani doesn’t like the fact that when his son visits he has to sleep in the living room and does not have a room of his own. One of his wishes is that he can be able to afford a house so that his son can have his own room. He is himself around his son and talks to him about everything, even the latest gossip. Him and his son are friends and it is beautiful to witness. 

Thando/Vinny - #ZMZuba Mon -Fri at 20:00hrs 

“I cannot think of any need in childhood as strong as the need for a father’s protection.” - Sigmund Freud 

This one is a bit of a mess, but one thing we know for sure is that they both want to protect Mutinta in their own twisted ways. Vinny is Mutinta’s biological father and Thando is also her dad and is the one who lives with her because he’s the one married to Zuba. 

Vinny risked his life to go and rescue Mutinta when she was kidnapped. He saved her life. 

Thando wants to move away to ensure that Mutinta is protected at all times.
