News
21 June 2023
The Kintu-Samula clan has been part of our daily lives and as Prestige comes to an end, we look back at the characters we fell in love with.
Eunice and Jasmine article cover

Jasmine and Eunice, two sisters who have captured our hearts and our attention for years, are leaving us. These two women have been through it all – love, loss, and even murder. They've been misunderstood, judged, and criticised, but they've always remained warriors in their own right. Jasmine, the fiery sister with a tongue that could cut like a knife.

She's always been one to speak her mind, and she's never been afraid to stand up for what she believes in. She's been robbed of her first love, and had her fair share of struggles, including a devastating miscarriage and a traumatic bout of amnesia. But even in the face of adversity, Jasmine has always been a fighter. She's determined to be the head of her family's clan, even though she's a woman and is highly misunderstood by her loved ones.

And then there's Eunice, the calm and collected sister who always seemed to have her head on straight. But looks can be deceiving, and Eunice has proven to be far more vicious than anyone could have anticipated. She found her husband in bed with her own sister, Jasmine, and threatened them with a knife. She also planned and executed the murder of Penny and kept a paternity secret from her family for over two decades. Eunice may have seemed like the rational one, but underneath it all, she was capable of anything.

As we say goodbye to Jasmine and Eunice, we can't help but feel a sense of loss. These two women have been a part of our lives for so long, and we've watched them grow and evolve in ways that we never could have imagined.

We'll miss their drama, their passion, and their sheer tenacity. We'll miss watching them navigate the intricacies of family dynamics and societal expectations. But most of all, we'll miss their spirit. Jasmine and Eunice may have had their flaws, but they were always true to themselves and to each other.
