Difa finds out that MaMzobe lied about Mlungisi’s dream. MaZungu fears for Nokubonga’s life. Khulekani refuses to go for a family cleansing.
Episode 152: Repercussions
The Gumede’s are in turmoil after Difa’s fall out with MaNzobe. MaNzimande brings the matter of succession to Siphamandla who also learns Mlungisi was rejected by Mthembu.
Episode 153: A big bombshell
Siphamandla accepts the throne. Nompendulo deals everyone a card they did not expect. MaMzobe gets a lifeline.
Episode 154: Where there’s a will, there’s way
Sibusiso takes the first step to repentance. The will has everyone on tenterhooks. Nobuntu finds who stole her money.
Episode 155: In the name of Mkhululi we fast!
Power lands in the wrong hands. The will rubs the Mthembus up the wrong way. The Gumedes gets a surprise visit.
Episode 156: The regent
The congregants are shocked by who the regent is. Ntuthuko falls ill and doctors can’t find what is wrong with him. Difa blows up at Ndoda when he asks him about the family skeletons.
Episode 157: Oprah and Gail
The regent assumes their rightful position. Siphamandla suspects that the will was fabricated.
Episode 158: New leader in charge
Difa’s manhood is questioned. Ndoda assumes his role as the older brother. MaMzobe flexes her muscles.
Episode 159: Take the money and walk away
Nomkhosi defies Khulekani. Mamzobe deals with the thorn in her flesh. Ntuthuko is miraculously healed.
Episode 160: Guard of honour
MaMzobe brings war to the Mthembu doorstep. There are casualties in MaMzobe and MaNzimande’s war.
Episode 161: What uMkhululi wants, uMkhululi gets
MaMzobe comes back to the Mthembu residence for round two. Nomkhosi blows a gasket at Khulekani when he relishes his family suffering during a crisis. Ndoda witnesses a glimpse of his mother’s dark side and he’s unsettled.
Episode 162: Was mkhulu a demon?
The council hatches a plan to deal with MaMzobe once and for all. Ntuthuko innocently gets Khulekani into hot water. Ndoda breaks the good news to family.
Episode 163: Who’s fooling who?
MaMzobe has a mole in the council. Ntuthuko learns that his grandfather wasn’t the bad man that his father made him out to be and Nomkhosi’s curiosity about eThempelini LeNkosi grows.
Episode 164: Kill her
The council takes a brutal decision in dealing with MaMzobe. Nobuntu starts having ambitions for herself. Ndoda reaches out to Nokubonga.
Episode 165: Before you kill me
MaMzobe learns that her life is on the line and responds in a very public way. Khulekani calls for an intervention in his marriage. Difa sees improvement in Nobuntu.
Episode 166: One step ahead
The councilmen are arrested. Nomkhosi fails to get through to Khulekani about becoming umJudiya. MaZungu and church women pledge their support to the new Mkhululi.
Episode 167: Mkhululi’s spy
Nokubonga is shocked to see MaMzobe’s spy paying homage to her master. Nomkhosi is unshaken in her faith. Sibusiso has sunk deeper into depression.
Episode 168: Boycotting
Difa and the council decide to boycott the installation. Khulekani fails to rule his wife.
Episode 169: She is king
MaNzimande ridicules the offer to be a council member. A furious Nobuntu tells MaMzobe what she really thinks of her. Nomkhosi surrenders to Mthembu.
Episode 170: The coronation that never was
Ndlovu denies MaMzobe three times. Khulekani sees red when he finds Nomkhosi wearing umJudiya. MaZungu lies to Maphalala about being a council woman.
Episode 171: The heist is complete
Khulekani and Nomkhosi’s marriage is tested. MaMzobe confronts Judas. Nomkhosi has chosen iThempile LeNkosi and it drives Khulekani to hurl insults at Mthembu.
Episode 172: Skhipha amademoni
MaMzobe finds herself alone. Khulekani’s plans to exorcise his wife of her demons dismally fails. Sibusiso decides to leave her parents’ home.
