Sipho Mntambo (36) and Lisbeth (36) met at church. He always had an eye on Lisbeth, but it took a mutual church friend to help them connect. A mutual friend made Lisbeth a bridesmaid and Sipho a groomsman, it wasn't until Lisbeth's dance partner pulled that, that Sipho would make his move. " I saw her and thought there's no way a beautiful girl like her can dance alone, so I had to make a plan." recalls Sipho.

He asked to swap partners and felt an instant connection, as if they were meant to be. Two weeks later he approached her friend from church for her numbers and she agreed. He gave her a call and asks to meet. " He came to my place and it was love at first sight for me on that day." 

Since then the two have been exclusive, attending church and doing fun stuff together. Lisbeth's sister has noticed a positive change in her sister, "She used to be a very serious person, but ever since Sipho came into her life she smiles all the time."

"I love how he makes me feel, we just connect and he brings out the best in me." says Lisbeth. Sipho agrees that their differences in personalities makes them compatible and their love interesting. " She's a quiet and I'm an outspoken person, she helps me tone down a bit and I help her express herself a bit more." 

Sipho proposed in the car when he told her that he wants to pay the bride price and send his uncles to her family, she immediately said yes! This time last year they were strangers, but a year later they look forward to tying the knot, halala!
