Their paths crossed twice in one week in January 2005, marking the beginning of a beautiful relationship.

However, tragedy struck just a few months into the relationship, when Khanyisile’s mother fell sick and sadly, passed away. Throughout this time, Moses did not leave Khanyisile’s side, as he helped her family wherever he could and even helped her complete her studies.

Moses proposed in 2005 and Khanyisile couldn’t wait to say “yes” and it’s no surprise that her wedding gown, the cake, the groom’s suit and the décor formed part of their wish list.

First stop was at the seamstress, where the bridesmaids and the groom tried on their outfits. The bride’s reaction said it all, as she danced and ululated, as she saw her bridesmaids and groom in their outfits. There was a brief bittersweet moment though, as memories of her deceased mother resurfaced, as Khanyisile tried on her dress.

Next up, the wedding party went to check up on the cake and a minor setback with the cake design, did not stop the bride from giving the red velvet and fruit cake the nod.

To end things off, the couple went over to the décor designer to view the décor and boy did they get a wonderful surprise! The décor designer added an element the couple were longing for but couldn’t get around doing it. He told them they would print pictures of the couple on the cars transporting the wedding party. The bride was beside herself with excitement and shed a few tears of joy.

With that, the couple ticked all the items on their priority list and had a wonderful, perfect wedding.
