It's still giving love and light.

With only seven housemates left in the game, the house carries an energy of peace and good vibes. With the housemates much more relaxed as they go through their day, their unity manifests in a common language only they understand. The rest of us are left wondering: what does it even mean? A day of card playing and general knowledge not only made fun competition the order of the day for the housemates but also normalized the use of words they've been developing throughout the season. They connected over their anxiety about the future and their dream cars.

It's a gwang

Makhekhe has been the biggest language trendsetter in the Big Brother Mzansi house. His inclination towards direct translation from a vernacular phrase to English has been worth every moment. When he's not directly translating words, he's using exclamations as words. "It's a gwang" has been used in the house to indicate that something is not working out or going according to plan. The meaning would be interpreted within the context of their interactions, but if it isn't cool, it's a gwang! If it's not a gwang, it's babazing, or bodlozing. The night was filled with gwang stories as housemates continued bonding over a game of cards.

Location sharing

Sinaye asked Willy if he shared his live location with his girlfriend, and it became a conversation about trust in relationships. Willy explained that he does it because he panics when his girlfriend is driving. Sinaye also mentioned that he shares his live location with three people in his life. The concept surprised Mpumi, who labelled it as next level. She said she would try it one day.

Disruptive daggers

Daggers came up in conversation last night, and assumptions were made about who Sammy_M and Fahima would have daggered in the house. The natural assumption for Fahima was PapaGhost, but McJunior quickly defended that stance, sharing that Fahima did not hate PapaGhost but actually liked him a lot, "believe it or not."
