Week nine has dawned for the housemates, bringing with it a new theme and another wager presentation. Following last week's tragic loss, the housemates are hoping to secure a wager win, though they are feeling doubtful. Their doubt has translated into a wager of 80% from the 100% wagered last week.
This week's theme is "Get Influenced," revolving around social media, content creation, and #sponsored posts. That is the vibe Biggie expects from the housemates this Thursday. The housemates have three main tasks for their upcoming wager involving the brands in the house: Lottor Star, Unilever, Robertsons Spices, and Captain Morgan.
The housemates need to create a 5-minute vlog promoting the aforementioned brands. They also need to shoot some photos of the products, and Biggie will provide a studio for this purpose. The last part of the wager task is a 15-minute podcast episode. The podcast needs hosts, guests, and topics. Everyone is required to have a key role in the development and presentation of the podcast, and no one should only work behind the scenes.
PapaGhost read the brief twice, and Makhekhe asked for clarity about the type of content they need to create. Zee assumed that the podcast was in line with the brands, but PapaGhost clarified that the podcast is not related to the products. "This one is too much work," Makhekhe exclaimed.

PapaGhost wanted to allocate responsibilities first, but Makhekhe thought it would be better to first break down the products and then allocate tasks. The housemates moved to choose what they wanted to do, with Liema, Mpumi, and Willy choosing to be the podcast hosts. Mpumi swiftly withdrew from hosting when there was an objection to having too many hosts. In her diary session, Liema shared that PapaGhost did not note her request to be a host, which she does not understand because she does podcasting outside the house. Biggie advised her to address her concerns with the HoH. Will she do it?
For now, their idea is to create "a day in the life of a Big Brother Mzansi housemate" vlog.
