Episode 16
After Njengaye lays down his competition, Vusi is determined to accept and proves his father wrong, much to the annoyance of a reluctant Kwenzo. Phetheni is concerned Njengaye’s competition may result in a sibling rivalry.
Episode 17
After seeing Kwenzo’s design, Gcina hints that Vusi must sabotage Kwenzo but Vusi hires the best designer in the country instead of betraying his own blood. Kwenzo finally cracks the design, and he calls Sibongile his muse. She then inspires the name for the new line of furniture he wants to pitch.
Episode 18
Sibongile helps Kwenzo prepare for the presentation and the two end up sharing a moment of unspoken, dangerous chemistry. Despite hiring the best designer in the country, Vusi fails to beat Kwenzo and he does the unthinkable, by stealing Kwenzo’s.
Episode 19
Njengaye is shocked when Kwenzo announces in front of shareholders that he doesn’t have his pitch. Deliwe subtly threatens to expose a secret, unless Phetheni helps her with her recruitment business.
Episode 20
Kwenzo fumes at his brother when he realises that Vusi is the one who stole his presentation, and Njengaye decides to call off the challenge and lead the tender bid himself. Deliwe scores a big client and Velephi gets charmed by a rich man.
Episode 21
Sibongile walks on eggshells after seeing Nomfundo and Njengaye sharing a cosy moment. Velephi is caught by Zakes in Don’s hotel room. Vusi returns Kwenzo’s laptop.
Episode 22
Njengaye manipulates Sibongile into keeping what she saw between him and Nomfundo a secret while Phetheni is happy to have her son back at home. Deliwe rains down on Velephi for risking her relationship with Zakes.
Episode 23
Vusi and Kwenzo fist bump and make up after the laptop resurfaces and Vusi owns up to his mistakes. Sibongile is excited when she learns that she’ll be going home for pay day.
Episode 24
Gcina and Kwenzo officially move into the Dlamini home. Kwenzo takes Sibongile home for her day off. Sibongile starts her first computer lesson.
Episode 25
Deliwe blurts out to Vuma about Sibongile doing domestic duties daily. Nomfundo is miffed to find Njengaye all cozy with Phetheni. After seeing life in Sibongile’s village, Kwenzo proposes an idea to Njengaye.
Episode 26
Sibongile and Vuma spend father and daughter quality time but rumours circulating Ixopo ruin the happy reunion. Zakes stalks Velephi right when she is at Sipho’s place.
Episode 27
Vuma wants to have an ancestral thanksgiving to celebrate Sibongile being the first one in the Mbambo family to go to university. A phone call from Sipho to Velephi, while in the presence of Zakes turns the situation sour and Zakes drives off with Velephi, living in fear for her safety.
