Umkhokha: The Curse

Siphamandla and Mabusi are shocked when they are told of the news of getting a second wife for him. Mabusi’s heart sinks, as she watches the potential second wife walk into the mansion.

MaMzobe brushes Zodwa off when she tells her she’s been having dreams of their father asking for his ancestral bag of bones.

Difa arrives with Mabusi's baby, just as MaMzobe is praying to Mvelase. He tells her that this is her last chance to show everyone that she has changed.

Things turn ugly at the Mzobe homestead, as an angry mob bays for MaMzobe’s life. She’s saved by Siphamandla who asks the angry mob to spare her life.

Mamzobe denies everything when Difa tries to find out the truth about her past. Mabusi does the worst, while Difa leads a team of men to dig Bab’Mzobe’s body.

Siphamandla can’t deal with the words Mabusi says, as he prepares to go with Difa to the Mzobe family to try stop the curse.

Ndlovu makes a scene and embarrasses the Gumede’s in church. The council members try to calm him down, but he won’t back down.

Things get out of hand at the Gumedes, as Difa beats Menga up. Zodwa and MaMzobe try to reason with Nobuntu to stay, but she’s determined to leave with Menga.

Difa is livid when Menga arrives to apologise for what happened between him and Nobuntu.

Things get hectic at the Gumedes, as Nobuntu tells Difa about Menga. MaMzobe pleads on Nobuntu’s behalf.

Nobuntu arrives to a full house of the delegation from the Ndlovus and she drops a dombshell on them, telling them she doesn’t want to marry Ndlovu.

Menga arrives at the Gumedes and pours his heart out to Nobuntu. Meanwhile, Ndlovu celebrates in church while Nobuntu and Menga kiss.

Menga is stressing that Nobuntu is marrying Ndlovu. Meanwhile, everyone at the arena dances and celebrates Nobuntu and Ndlovu’s marriage.

MaMzobe witnesses a moment between Nobuntu and Menga and advises her to pray to Mthembu for guidance. Menga later kisses Nobuntu.

Menga shows up at the Gumede’s and declares his undying love for Nobuntu.

MaMzobe and Ntombi talk about how Difa spent the night in MaMzobe’s bed. MaMzobe walks in just as Zodwa confronts Difa about this.

MaMzobe and Zodwa exchange words when MaMzobe confronts her about pushing Difa to start the lobola negotiations.

MaZungu arrives just in time to stop Nokubonga and Luyanda from gossiping about Nobuntu.

MaZungu puts MaMzobe in her place when she calls asking her to tip the scales at the virginity test in favour of Nobuntu.

It’s a little awkward around the table, as Gabisile asks Nobuntu if she’s joining her and the other girls for the virginity test. Nobuntu accepts Ndlovu’s marriage proposal.

Nobuntu confronts MaMzobe and warns her not to mess things up with her arranged marriage to Ndlovu.

Siphamandla appears just as the congregation ends their prayer. Everyone is shocked and happy to see him.

It's Nothando's first day on campus and time for her to see who her roommate will be. She gets a shock and an unexplainable moment after finding out that it's Zodwa, a sangoma.

Things have taken a turn between Mshengu and Donga since he swallowed his pride and allowed his father to help him. They had an emotional moment after getting his car back and fixing the mess.

Nompendulo tells the Mthembus of how MaMzobe made her change Mlungisi’s will. MaNzimande and Nomkhosi cannot hide their excitement, as it’s revealed that Mlungisi left the church in Siphamandla’s hands.
