Jezebel is having the time of her life in Mombasa at the expense of Njoro. A client comes up with an irresistible offer, forcing Njoro to consider going back to the Nairobi. Does he take it?

After being apart for many months, Njoro spends the day bonding with Stacy, making up for lost time, albeit with an unwelcome third wheeler in tow.

Njoro plays host to an archeologist with 6 months to live. He is ticking off a bucket list before he dies of cancer. It’s not all doom as Stacy comes down for a visit.

With both Cess and Stacy gone from his life and as his problems have increased, Njoro’s drinking has escalated. This sees him thrown out by Jezebel and a near fatal incident with a child finally pushes Njoro over the edge. For Njoro, it feels like the City in the sun, has finally succeeded in breaking him

Njoro drives a man in a seemingly loving and openly polygamous marriage. This conversation drives him to seek out Cess and he finds his nemesis Koome on a similar mission. Which man wins the girl in the ensuing confrontation.

It’s the day after Edna goes into premature labor. Koome is unreachable and Njoro, feeling responsible hangs around the hospital, waiting for news, any news. Eventually Koomes does show up, and the report from the doctor, is not what they expected.

Njoro finds out Jezebel’s real name in the weirdest and most embarrassing of situations for both of them. Edna goes into premature labour after she learns that Cess is pregnant.

Njoro’s lawyer piles pressure on him to cut a deal with the bank and later receives a surprise call from Cess who shares with him shocking news. His actions that night alters the course of his entire life.

Njoro's conversations with his customers spark some deep introspection leaving him with feelings of failure.

Njoro is on to spider and he decides to do the right thing. It’s his turn to avoid Cess as he is still angry about her continuous dalliance with the married man. He then sets her up in a quest for revenge which doesn’t go as he had hoped it would.

Cess and Njoro are back on speaking terms, Njoro helps a young man going for an interview bag the job, and he rescues a sick mother who has collapsed in the CBD. But being Nairobi, things on the ground are different. His joy is short lived when he visits Cess and finds Koome's car parked in her driveway.

Cess invites Njoro for her sisters’ traditional wedding ceremony to fend off questions of her marital status from nosy aunties. Njoro grudgingly agrees and later gets drunk and spills the beans on Cess’s relationship status to her family and friends gathered for the ceremony.

Njoro’s day is off to a bad start. Stacy is spending the day with her friends and their mothers in a bonding and learning session. Jezebel has plans forcing Njoro to spend a long uncomfortable day baking while listening to gossip from the women.

It’s the day after the romantic evening with Cess, and Njoro is over the moon. His euphoria is however short lived when his landlord shows up demanding his rent arrears, He has to deal with a difficult Jezebel, a deviant Stacy, a drunk Dwayne, demanding passengers, but most painful, a bruised heart when he finds out Cess is back with her married man.

Stacy takes Njoro to task wanting to find out why her parents separated. Her assumptions bring Njoro to the realization that he might need to have the big talk with Stacy but is at a loss on how to do it. The tension between Cess and Njoro thaws and things take an interesting turn when Cess asks him over for dinner.

Njoro gives a ride to two extremely drunk young doctors who are on call and coming from the club. He has to drive them to the hospital where they have been called for an emergency. Stacy has a crush on a boy while Njoro finds out that Cess is in a relationship with a married man.

Njoro has a close shave with Cess when she almost realizes that he is a taxi driver, a secret he has worked hard to keep away from her. Its Stacy’s birthday and Njoro promises the moon to prove a point to Jezebel but he is on the brink of not just humiliating Stacy amongst her friends but struggles with feelings of failure and self-loathing for being unable to provide for his daughter as he previously had.

Edna’s search for a child sees her join a cult. Njoro’s financial struggles continue to pile pressure on him. The unfairness of it all is magnified when he spends the day helping a twenty-two-year-old house hunt in posh neighborhoods. He observes the ease with which she pays rent running into hundreds of thousands while Njoro struggles to raise money to service his car which is his lifeline.

It’s dawns on Njoro that despite living in a big city, being surrounded by people and even interacting with different personalities in his taxi day and night, his is a very lonely existence. Eventually he comes to the realization that ‘The Palace breeds fame, and the market builds fortune, But Loneliness is the path to Wisdom.’

Njoro as a weakness for pretty women. However, he gets more than he bargains for when a pretty woman turns rogue

Njoro’s cab becomes a confession box when his passenger confesses to a murder.

Njoro gets a request from a young mother. Upon arrival at her destination, she exits and unbeknown to Njoro, leaves the baby in the car. Njoro is alerted by the next customer and he has to spend a frustrating day taking care of the infant and trying to trace its mother

Njoro’s day is off to a good start when he gives a ride to a generous client. All is well until he gets on the wrong side of county officials that see him spend a whole day in the county offices.
