Tasché is an 18-year-old recently matriculated student and part-time waitress from Brackenfell in Cape Town. She feels she’s a natural singer: “I’ve never felt like I was struggling,” she says, and also thinks she’s “different” as a vocalist. Music for her is “a passion, a hobby, a love – it’s all in one.” She takes singing lessons and performs when and wherever she can.
