Anslin Gysman is 22 years old and from Phillipi in Cape Town. Until recently, he’d always been quite set on getting his qualifications, landing an office job and only singing as a hobby. That all changed when he started a backing vocal group with his two friends. His work with The Vocal Associates ignited his passion for music and they even did a show together called YOLO. Sadly, tragedy struck and he lost his uncle who raised him so he stopped singing for almost 6 months. His struggles came to a close when a song came to him in dream where he was singing in a temple. He wrote everything down when he woke up and felt gratified for the first time in ages. Now music is once again his first love!
