Nikita is a 24-year-old Performing Waitron at Stardust in Cape Town. She was fostered from just age 2 which lead to a lot of trauma, insecurity and self-doubt in her formative years. After overcoming years of abuse, she struck out on her own when she was only 15-years-old. As a result of her past, she used to be a very shy and awkward musician, but her confidence has grown tremendously because of the unwavering support of her adoptive parents who took her under their wing over 6 years back. She now wants her accomplishments on The Voice SA to be an example of what’s possible for every young girl who feels hopeless about overcoming immense challenges and adversity.
